For parents and children alike, summer is often a magical time where the days seem to last forever and responsibilities float away in the breeze. However, it is also a common time when exercise and fitness routines tend to get discarded out the window once vacation schedules come into full swing. In addition, it is all too easy to have bottomless indulgence in unhealthy treats, like ice cream, sugary sodas, and potato chips at the weekend BBQ.
