Stemming from a young age, Dr. Lynn Reynolds, D.O. – Medical Director of Indianapolis Health and Wellness, and BodyLogicMD of Caramel – had an innate desire work in the medical field. Dr. Reynolds grew up traveling the globe. Her parents were missionaries to Kenya East Africa. While living there, she spent most of her free time with a nurse midwife and assisted in newborn deliveries.
Dr. Reynolds has been practicing medicine as an Obstetrician Gynecologist for more than 20 years and has been practicing with bioidentical hormones as a preferred method of treatment for women living with the unpleasant symptoms of hormone imbalance for more than 10 years. Midway through her career, Dr. Reynolds met a local compounding pharmacist that introduced her to the field of integrative medicine. Dr. Reynolds started fellowship training with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine shortly after. This extensive training, that spanned more than 2 years, provided her with the tools needed to treat patients as a whole – mind, body, and soul.
Dr. Reynolds truly enjoys assisting patients on the path to healthy living and believes whole-heartedly in the body’s natural healing power. Practicing functional and integrative medicine has given Dr. Reynolds practical solutions to the health challenges that men and women face with age like fatigue, depression, hot flashes, sexual dysfunction, weight gain, muscle loss, and low libido. She combines cutting-edge integrative therapies such as bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), tailored nutrition plans, pharmaceutical grade supplementation, and stress reducing practices to help patients live a life full of health and vitality.
Dr. Reynolds received her undergraduate degree from Anderson University in Indiana. She continued her education, graduating from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Internship and Residency at Riverside Osteopathic Hospital in Trenton, MI. Dr. Reynolds served on the Ethic Committee for the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Illinois and as the Medical Director of Woman to Woman OB/Gyn Specialist and Chief of Surgery at Morgan Medical Center and Hospital in Martinsville, IN. More recently, Dr. Reynolds served on the Credential Committee at the IU Morgan Hospital.
In Dr. Reynolds free time she enjoys spending time with her family, biking, and horseback riding. She also enjoys spending time working in and growing her organic garden at home and staying active. Dr. Reynolds participated in the Indianapolis Mini Marathon in 2009.
